Plant Lines
Plant Lines is a public art project that was made in the context of the 2014 edition of the Lausanne Jardins festival. Its cable car-like system functions as a communal hanging garden, which brings neighbours together with the common goal of caring for and enjoying aromatic plants. This project reworks the idea of the washing line stretched between the façades of two buildings, seeking to create social contact between the alley’s neighbours. The idea of the line and the pots’ hanging system mean that the installation can become a means of exchanging plants between facing neighbours and offers a unique atmosphere to passersby. .
In collaboration with Manon Briod and MG Architectes paysagistes. With further help from Nicolas Wenger, de Regibus SA and Jakob AG. Lausanne Jardins 2014 — Landing was curated by Adrien Rovero and Christophe Ponceau.
